T.J. Edmond
Real Estate Advisor

Since he first began real estate in 2015, TJ Edmond has always displayed a strong passion for his career that’s allowed him to thrive and build valuable relationships with every client he works with. But real estate wasn’t always his calling. In 2003 TJ moved to Atlanta to pursue his music career, having success as a songwriter, musician, and audio engineer but even so, eventually, he found himself transitioning into real estate.
His love for historic homes and prior 30 years’ experience in specialty sales, customer service, and education, with additional experience in marketing, construction, and remodeling made his transition easy. But his passion for assisting his clients in becoming homeowners and helping build and improve communities is what set everything in stone.
Specializing in assisting buyers who move to Atlanta from other cities, understanding the myriad of Atlanta neighborhoods and pinpointing which one is the best fit for them is what he thoroughly enjoys and what keeps him motivated; priding himself on finding the perfect home for all of his clients.
When asked what his favorite part of being an Engel & Völkers Atlanta Advisor; ”Meeting new people, seeing homes, driving around Atlanta, and tackling new challenges every day!”
I was born at home in Birmingham, Michigan, on St. Joseph's Day. My uncle Timothy was there, serving as the D.J., playing John Prine and Leon Russell records. My parents named me Timothy Joseph, but have always called me T.J.
Accolades
Favorite Neighborhood
My favorite homes are the grand old Tudor revival style estates in Druid Hills, but Decatur is my favorite place to live.
Proudest Moment
After beginning my real estate career in Athens, Georgia, I moved back to Atlanta and started over again in a new, bigger market. In the first year I qualified for the Atlanta Realtors Association Top Producers, ranking in the top 10% of agents, and have ranked in the Top Producers every year since then.
Perfect Day
A great day would start early, with coffee on the porch in the cool morning air. After a quick workout and a walk with our dogs, a productive morning of calls and contracts, lunch with a friend, an afternoon spent driving around to preview and show homes, followed by dinner out with my wife and some friends.
Inspiration
I set big personal goals and dreams that I want to achieve. I continually want to grow and improve as a person and as an agent, and I want to be financially able to care for my wife and parents in the long term.
